What coverages does VanVaz offer?

When you get on a VanVaz, an all-risk cover with a €1,500 excess for damages is included in the price.

Plus, you get liability insurance. In the event of an accident, coverage for roadside assistance throughout Europe will help you.

Anti-theft protection is included in the comprehensive coverage. You can reduce the excess amount by selecting the “Advanced” or “Complete” coverage package when making your reservation. With these packages you will have a broader coverage and in this way you will be safer on your trip.

What is the deductible in the event of an accident and how can it be reduced?

The excess is €1,500 for damages in the event of comprehensive insurance. To keep your excess insurance damage costs as low as possible during the adventure period, we recommend booking one of our “worry-free packages”. With €15 a day you can reduce your excess to €600 for damages (Advanced package). For €25 per day you can reduce it to €0 for damages (Complete package).

Do I need trip cancellation insurance?

Trip cancellation insurance makes sense if, for example, you want to cancel before your trip due to an accident, illness or death. But don’t worry, we are aware that this does not depend on you and we want to help you.

If you cannot travel as planned, you have up to 72 hours before the start of the trip to change your reservation for free or cancel it in exchange for a voucher.

If you want more extensive protection before your trip, you should take out cancellation insurance with an insurance provider.
