Canary Islands: much more than sun and beach

But apart from all these dream landscapes, the Canary Islands are home to a wider variety of places to visit, not as typical as the beaches, so here are some of them for you to take into account when planning your route around this beautiful archipelago.

Teide Peak

Teide is a volcano located on the Spanish island of Tenerife and is a must-see if you travel to the Canary Islands, as from its peak, the highest in the country, you can contemplate incredible views that will remain engraved in your memory forever.

Timanfaya National Park

This is a protected natural area on the island of Lanzarote. Here you can see impressive landscapes such as the Fire Mountains, take camel rides or go on routes such as the Tremesa or the coastal route.

Siam Park

Siam is a water park located on the island of Tenerife named by users as the best water park in the world in 2021. Here you can enjoy both adults and children on fun-filled, adrenaline-filled rides, or in the relaxation area, visiting animals and having a snack.

Cave of the Greens

It is a volcanic cave located in the north of the island of Lanzarote that leaves no one indifferent.

Along its route there are at least sixteen Jameos that end up leading to an underwater stretch of a kilometre and a half called “Tunnel of Atlantis” that leaves incredible images to photograph and remember.

Cactus Garden

This garden located on the island of Lanzarote and designed by César Manrique, houses around four thousand five hundred cactus specimens of approximately 500 species from the five continents.

This complex has won international awards and is considered one of the most important cactus gardens in the world.
